Bloomberg seeks re-election, students express opinions

The New York City Council voted 29-22 to allow Mayor Michael Bloomberg to seek office for a third term. Bloomberg, who was first elected in 2001, won again after being re-elected in 2005, and is hoping to win re-election again in 2009. The bill allows only those who are currently in office to stay put in office for a third term.

Construction at the St. George

Living at the St. George residence has always had its ups and downs. I love the neighborhood, the people, the restaurants - just how peaceful Brooklyn Heights is. No matter how crazy Manhattan gets I know I will get home and it's like another world. On the other hand, the building has always some sort of construction going on or problem being 'resolved' that never really ends up 'resolved' but okay enough to pass.
